The trees, well known as the signature of the lengthiest street in Tehran, are the greatest witness of the history of Iran, from the Reza Shah dynasty to the harsh sanctions of Islamic Republic of Iran. Beautiful snow swept winter symbolizes the pre-revolution honor and dignity of Iranian people. The dark autumn represents the present time, the worst days of Iranian History. Finally the spring, symbol of renewal, embodies the hope that people have for a better future. A long period of dryness necessitated two years of shooting to capture the required material for this project.
